The “best” hotel is usually the best fit
There is no single Paris hotel that should win every ranking.
Cheval Blanc can be the best overall choice while Shangri-La leads for Eiffel views, Plaza Athénée for romance, Le Bristol for a classic family Palace stay or La Réserve for privacy.
That is not inconsistency. It is the point of the publication.
