The Best Paris Hotels with Michelin-Starred Restaurants for 2026
For food-focused travelers, a great Paris hotel can become the itinerary rather than simply the place you sleep. We compared seven leading luxury hotels that currently house Michelin-starred restaurants, looking beyond the raw star count to restaurant variety, current opening status, dining style and how compelling the hotel is for a multi-night gastronomic stay.
Michelin stars are awarded to restaurants, not hotels. MICHELIN Keys are a separate hotel distinction. This ranking uses the current 2026 MICHELIN Guide and official hotel information; commercial relationships do not determine the order.
Which Paris hotel has the most Michelin stars?
Cheval Blanc Paris and Four Seasons Hotel George V are tied at the top with six Michelin stars across three restaurants each in 2026.
At Cheval Blanc, Plénitude has 3★, Hakuba 2★ and Le Tout-Paris 1★. At George V, Le Cinq has 3★, L’Orangerie 2★ and Le George 1★.
We rank Cheval Blanc #1 editorially because its three restaurants create an unusually contrasting progression — from Plénitude to Japanese kaiseki-sushi at Hakuba to the more relaxed Le Tout-Paris — inside a hotel with only 72 rooms and suites. George V is effectively tied on Michelin strength and is the stronger choice if you want the full scale and ritual of a classic grand hotel.

| Le Bristol Paris | Épicure 3★ · 114 Faubourg 1★ | 4★ awarded | 114 Faubourg temporarily closed |

Michelin star totals describe restaurant awards inside each hotel; they are not hotel star ratings. A temporarily closed restaurant can still appear in the current Guide, which is why operating status is shown separately.
Star count matters — but it is not the whole dinner
Current Michelin level
Three stars carry more weight than two or one, and multiple starred restaurants give a hotel more depth across a multi-night stay.
Restaurant variety
Three restaurants matter more when they offer genuinely different experiences rather than variations on the same formal-dining format.
Current availability
A Michelin star is less useful to a hotel guest when the restaurant is temporarily closed, so we surface operating status explicitly.
Hotel integration
We favor properties where dining can realistically anchor an entire stay: breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar and room experience all matter.
Distinctiveness
Kaiseki at Hakuba, three-star contemporary French dining at Le Cinq and a 40-key Palace with Le Gabriel create very different reasons to stay.
No star inflation
A restaurant being listed in the MICHELIN Guide does not mean it has a star. We distinguish “Guide selected” from 1★, 2★ and 3★.
Cheval Blanc Paris
Michelin stars in 2026: 6 across three restaurants.
Plénitude
Arnaud Donckele’s flagship is the hotel’s gastronomic summit, with a cuisine built around sauces and a tasting-menu experience designed as the evening’s main event.
Hakuba
The Japanese restaurant combines kaiseki and sushi traditions through the collaboration of Arnaud Donckele, Takuya Watanabe and pastry chef Maxime Frédéric.
Le Tout-Paris
A livelier contemporary brasserie on the seventh floor, with broad views over the Seine and Paris — useful when you want Michelin recognition without another long formal tasting dinner.
Why it ranks first: the star count ties George V, but the combination of 3★ French gastronomy, 2★ Japanese dining and a 1★ panoramic brasserie gives Cheval Blanc the most contrasting starred program inside a single hotel.

Four Seasons Hotel George V
Michelin stars in 2026: 6 across three restaurants. Four Seasons officially confirmed the renewal of all six stars in March 2026.
Le Cinq
Christian Le Squer’s flagship is the formal gastronomic anchor of the hotel and one of Paris’s established three-star dining rooms.
L’Orangerie
A smaller, more intimate restaurant that gives the George V a second high-level gastronomic experience without repeating Le Cinq’s scale or mood.
Le George
Mediterranean and Italian influences create the more relaxed end of the hotel’s starred spectrum.
Why it ranks second: Michelin strength is effectively tied with Cheval Blanc. George V is the stronger choice if you want six stars inside the ceremonial ecosystem of a 243-room Golden Triangle grand hotel.

Le Bristol Paris
Michelin recognition in 2026: 4 stars awarded across two restaurants. Épicure holds 3★ and 114 Faubourg holds 1★ in the current Guide.
There is one important booking caveat: 114 Faubourg is currently marked “temporarily closed until further notice” by Le Bristol. For travelers booking specifically around Michelin dining, Épicure is therefore the operative reason to choose the hotel right now.
Épicure, led by Arnaud Faye, gives Le Bristol a genuine three-star flagship while the hotel’s garden, rooftop pool and residential Palace atmosphere make it particularly attractive for a longer food-focused stay.
La Réserve Paris
Michelin stars in 2026: Le Gabriel 3★. Chef Jérôme Banctel’s flagship has held three Michelin stars since 2024.
What makes La Réserve distinctive is the ratio: a three-star restaurant inside a Palace with only 40 accommodations. The hotel’s privacy, dedicated Butler service and small scale make Le Gabriel feel unusually integrated into the stay rather than one attraction inside a huge property.
La Pagode de Cos provides a second, more relaxed restaurant under Banctel’s culinary direction, even though it is not part of the starred count.
Le Meurice
Michelin stars in 2026: Restaurant Le Meurice Alain Ducasse 2★.
The restaurant is overseen by Alain Ducasse with executive chef Amaury Bouhours, while the broader hotel combines the formal dinner with Tuileries views, Le Dalí, Bar 228 and Cédric Grolet’s pastry presence.
Le Meurice therefore makes more sense than the two-star count alone suggests for a culinary weekend: the hotel can move from fine dining to pastry, afternoon tea and central Paris sightseeing without changing address.
Hôtel Plaza Athénée
Michelin stars in 2026: 1★. The current MICHELIN Guide continues to list the starred restaurant under the name Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée.
There is an important current naming and chef nuance: Hôtel Plaza Athénée’s own dining presentation now identifies its Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant with Anthony Di Prospero, within a hotel culinary team led by Executive Chef Jocelyn Herland. We therefore use Michelin as the source of truth for the 2026 star and the hotel’s current site for the operating team.
The reason to choose Plaza Athénée is not star count. It is the combination of one-star gastronomy with Avenue Montaigne, Le Relais Plaza, La Galerie, couture identity and Eiffel-facing rooms.

Ritz Paris
Michelin stars in 2026: Espadon 1★. Chef Eugénie Béziat leads the restaurant, which remains the Ritz’s starred gastronomic flagship.
Ritz ranks seventh because this page is specifically about Michelin depth, not because it is the seventh-best hotel. Its culinary identity extends far beyond Espadon through Bar Hemingway, Salon Proust, Bar Vendôme and the hotel’s historical connection to Auguste Escoffier.

Two famous hotel restaurants that are not currently Michelin-starred
Shang Palace · Shangri-La Paris
Shang Palace remains listed in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide, but its current entry does not carry a star. Shangri-La’s own award history records the restaurant’s starred period as 2011–2024. Older articles describing it as currently starred are therefore outdated.

Nonos is currently included in the MICHELIN Guide but does not hold a star. Crillon’s current dining lineup should therefore not be described as containing a Michelin-starred restaurant unless the Guide changes.
Read the Hôtel de Crillon review →Michelin stars vs MICHELIN Keys: what is the difference?
Michelin stars rate restaurants. One, two or three stars refer to the restaurant’s cuisine according to the MICHELIN Guide.
MICHELIN Keys are a separate hotel distinction. A hotel can hold Michelin Keys without having a Michelin-starred restaurant, and a restaurant can hold Michelin stars inside a hotel whose hotel-level recognition is different.
Book the restaurant as carefully as the room
Do not assume a room guarantees a table
High-demand Michelin restaurants may operate their own reservation inventory. Book dinner separately even when you are staying in the hotel.
Check restaurant closure dates
Annual summer closures, weekly closing days and temporary closures can make the star count irrelevant for your exact travel dates.
Plan a progression
At Cheval Blanc or George V, three starred dinners in a row may be excessive. Mix the flagship restaurant with a more relaxed starred venue or hotel bar.
Which Paris hotel is best for Michelin-starred dining?
Cheval Blanc Paris and Four Seasons Hotel George V are the clear leaders in 2026, with six Michelin stars across three restaurants each. We give Cheval Blanc a narrow editorial #1 for the contrast between Plénitude, Hakuba and Le Tout-Paris; choose George V if you prefer the scale and ritual of a classic grand hotel.
Le Bristol follows with four stars awarded, although one-star 114 Faubourg is currently temporarily closed. La Réserve is the strongest one-restaurant choice for privacy around a three-star dinner, while Le Meurice, Plaza Athénée and Ritz Paris make sense when Michelin dining is part of a broader Paris hotel experience rather than the entire reason for the stay.
